FaMished AMerika was/is a performance project featuring Susanna Hood and Nilan Perera.
The concept was to improvise live sound works ripped, sampled and processed from the AM/FM radio frequencies that were playing at the time of performance.
The equipment used were AM/FM tuners, fx pedals, 8 channel mixer and microphone.
All analog.
The recording presented here was recorded at the Ambient Ping series in Toronto at Club Nia (C'est What) on March 4 2003.
